The Larapinta Trail is our home town trek;we stock all the correct gear for the task from socks and jocks to food and pack.  Our prices are competitive with anywhere in Australia so why lug all the gear across the country when you can get the right gear right here in Alice Springs.

FUEL

CANISTERS: 

Screw on canisters (suit Kovea, MSR, Optimus, Jetboil, Coleman & many other stoves that take the modern screw on style canister):

     PRIMUS 230g Canister (screw on): $8.95

     PRIMUS 450g Canister (screw on): $14.95

     JETBOIL 100g Canister (screw on): $9.95

METHYLATED SPIRITS: $6.95   Suits spirit stove such as Trangia. 1L bottle of Methylated spirits

Parks & Wildlife NT recommend walkers on the Larapinta trail carry a beacon. 

FOOD

We stock an extensive range of freeze dried food, perhaps the largest range in Australia.

We carry the excellent BACKCOUNTRY freeze dried food from New Zealand, visit their website www.backcountrycuisine.co.nz

We also stock BACKPACKERS PANTRY for vegetarian meals.

We even have desserts including freeze dried icecream; it's yummy!

WATER

We stock Micropur water purification tablets by Katadyn as well as cheaper but yuckier options.  We also stock the MSR mini works filter pump & Steripen.

We stock water carrying vessels from the price sensitive but reliable Sea to Summit Pack Tap to the bomb proof MSR Hydromedary bags as well as the innovative Camelbak, Nalgene and Nathan Sports brands.
